Continuity by choice.
A place for
your people.
Gather in community rooms, keep your personal moments, and choose what to share.
Here is how KJN turns conversations into a living chronicle.
From a conversation to a chronicle
Be here now.
Keep what matters.
Gather in community rooms.
Join a public room or follow an invitation to a private room. Talk, listen, and spend time with your people. Private access does not guarantee absolute confidentiality.
Chronicle private and shared moments.
Keep personal reflections in your Journal with a free account. With Pro, choose moments to share on the room’s Wall. Room access and retention depend on its settings.
Return to your chronicle.
Come back to a standing room and revisit writing that remains available when history is enabled. What stays depends on each feature’s retention rules.
Before you join
Questions, answered.
Is KJN free?
Yes. A free account lets you join public and invited rooms on video, read the Wall, post on the Wall in The Lobby, and keep a personal Journal. Free sessions last up to 20 minutes, with up to 40 minutes a day. Pro, planned at $16 USD a month ($8 for your first month with the Halloween special, for subscriptions started by October 31, 2026), adds posting on the Wall in every room and creating your own rooms; paid checkout is not open yet.
Do I need to download an app?
No. KJN runs in your web browser. Allow your camera and microphone when your browser asks. You can also add KJN to your home screen.
Can I share my screen?
Yes. In a room, choose Share screen to show your screen to the people there. Screen sharing works in desktop browsers that support it; most phone browsers do not.
Are video calls recorded?
No. KJN does not automatically record a room's audio or video. If you choose Record voice, your microphone is recorded into a draft that you can choose to publish on the Wall.
Can I keep a room private?
Yes. Invited rooms are joined by link or code instead of from the public list. Private access does not guarantee absolute confidentiality; see the Privacy policy for what is stored.
What gets saved in KJN?
In a room with history enabled, every typed chat message is saved and is readable by the node that hosts the room. Ephemeral chat clears when everyone leaves.
The Wall has separate retention rules; a Wall post is not a promise of permanent storage. KJN does not automatically record a room's audio or video. If you choose Record voice, your microphone is recorded into a draft; publishing shares that voice note on the Wall. See the Privacy policy for more about stored content.
